Our Board Bio:
Anthony Mattina is a very proud American who has served in the U.S. Army, the Mississippi
National Guard, was an officer of the law and an elected official of Harrison County, MS., and is a
respected businessman in the community and a recognized songwriter and performer who has
been part of the Mississippi Gulf Coast community all his life.

In 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  Mr. Mattina lost his home in
that storm, as did thousands of others.  But during the aftermath of Katrina, amidst trying to
rebuild, sharing with his neighbors and assisting the "faith based" groups and the National Guard
and Navy Seabee's who hit the ground running from day one, Mr. Mattina was inspired to
compose and record the song "Lord Bless the World".  It is dedicated to all Americans, civilian
and active or retired Military who believe in God and our Country.  This original melody and lyric
reflects the heart and soul of all people who believe that freedom is a blessing earned by selfless
diligence and inspiration.  And in a troubled world, America is still the beacon of freedom and
hope.

Currently, Mr. Mattina is Founder and President of the Helping Light Foundation, a non-profit
organization whose mission is to help raise awareness and funds to help post Katrina children
and the children of active Military who suffer from emotional and stress disorders.
